BizBash Media, a trade magazine and Web site covering the event planning
industry, is seeking a style intern. We’re looking for someone with a
background or strong interest in design (in events, interiors, fashion,
etc.), food, and new products. Duties are primarily tasks like online
research, calling in products, and returning samples, but an intern may
also attend design fairs and events, write copy for the website, and help
with photo shoots. The position is unpaid but is a great opportunity to
gain contacts in the design and event world, as well as clips and a
professional reference. The position begins mid-January. Hours are
flexible, but you must be in the NYC area, as our office is in Midtown.
