We are a small product development and marketing company, specializing in eco friendly and socially conscious projects. Currently, we have a line of bracelets, made out of recycled tires and metals, called "I'm Tired of..." and have an online newsletter and website, called White Apricot (www.WhiteApricot.com) that is all about eco fashion, beauty and lifestyle. The bracelets are about raising money for important causes. They cost just $10 each and $5 (half) from the sale of each bracelet goes to charities supporting major causes in our world that we are all "tired of." We would like to bring on a non-paid intern, who would function in a marketing assistant type role. He or she would be heavily involved in our publicity effort for all types of media, from print to broadcast and electronic, including marketing to blogs and social networks, as well as other parts of our marketing effort, primarily for the "I'm Tired of..." line. The intern would definitely get a good grasp of nuts and bolts product marketing.
