About Us: We are a prominent name in the events and nightlife industry, with current plans to jump to the next level in our expansion. Our business involves the creation, production and promotion of nightlife events. Currently we maintain 3-4 events per month with the top nightclubs in San Francisco, with plans to increase both the number and size of these events. We are also in the planning and development stages of launching several new services of the company outside the nightlife industry, which have the potential to drastically fuel growth. Our office is located on the borders of Portreo Hill and Mission. This will not be a typical, slow and hands off internship. As well as taking on many responsibilities and having a huge influence on the company’s productivity and growth, you will also be a part of the scene and experience first hand the yields of your hard work. As our current office staff is quite small, responsibilities will be broad and require a range of different skill sets and exceptional multitasking abilities. In addition, because of the wide range of tasks and duties, we are looking for someone who has the drive and capability to learn new skills on their own and learn them fast. Key Characteristics: Excellent Organization Self-Motivated Personable Hard working Resourceful Works well under stress and pressure Keen interest in nightlife, hospitality, and events Required Skills: Experience with Social Networking frameworks (Facebook, Myspace, & Going) Mac computer literate Knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel, Entourage and Word) Knowledge of basic HTML Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Flash and Photoshop a plus but not required Responsibilities/ Duties: Administrative -Contact management -Guest list management -Office management Marketing -Management of Social Networking Sites Contact management Company profile(s) management -Management and Organization of Event Sites -Mobile Marketing (SMS) Contact management Event promotions -Newsletter Management Weekly updates Promotions and Marketing Contact Management Other Potential Responsibilities: On site event work Market research and Analysis Aid with development of future divisions/departments Composition of marketing materials Event and sponsorship proposals Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
