Great sales & marketing internship available at a cosmetics industry start-up. We are a small U.S. distributor of Brazilian beauty products looking for an intern who wants to help build the business from the ground up. Candidate must be a motivated, self-starter who is eager to learn all aspects of the business. You must present yourself in a professional manner, and have strong verbal and written skills. An interest in cosmetics and beauty trade is preferred.

Your tasks will include:

Sales Support
- Maintain buyer contact information
- Research retailers
- Cold call potential clients

Marketing/PR Support
- Maintain media lists
- Write press releases
- Create sales and marketing kits

Administrative Support
- Coordinate and confirm sales appointments
- Ship samples to potential buyers
- General office support

This is a great opportunity for a college or graduate student who is looking to gain real world experience in a start-up atmosphere in the beauty industry. Our office is located in downtown Menlo Park. This position will require approximately 10 to 15 hours a week.
