Nightlife Party Promotions (New York, Manhattan)

Young Professionals, College Students, and Recent Grads:

Experienced and respected New York City event coordinators are expanding their nightlife promotions/marketing/consulting organization and seek motivated, outgoing, and fresh-faced new members to join their team.

You are invited to apply for a promotional position with one of New York's premier event and nightlife companies. The responsibilities of the job are simple: Invite your friends and contacts to join you for partying in hip, high-end Manhattan venues. Duties include increasing the weekly turnout for events, assisting nightlife executives during their nightly routines at club events, and general hosting. This position is a fantastic way to build your contact base and you will be regularly networking with other young and ambitious New Yorkers in a relaxed environment and putting yourself in position to have a long and illustrious career in nightlife. The parties that are produced cater to the art, music, fashion, and hospitality industries, therefore if you are looking to advance your connections in one of these fields or simply have a good time with cool people, this could be the ideal job for you.

Our ideal candidate will already be a regular attendee of the popular and upscale clubs of Manhattan and bringing in with them a rolodex full of contacts within the city. Prior nightlife experience not required. Both full and part-time team members wanted.

If you feel that you have what it takes to be an integral part of our team, send a brief description of why you believe you would be a perfect fit for our company (please NO generic cover letters--relate to nightlife/marketing/promotions only) and please include your full contact information, college background, and favorite Manhattan clubs and lounges. We will be in touch to schedule an interview if you fit our profile. DO NOT APPLY if you are not a current student living in New York City or recent college graduate, or you do not frequent nightclubs.

NO ATTACHMENTS. THEY WILL NOT BE OPENED.

Internships for the Fall 2008 semester are also available.
