This is a professional internship designed to integrate the intern as a member of the dynamic luxury fashion world. The intern is expected to perform in a fast-paced, demanding, and evolving work environment. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Marketing as well as the Marketing Coordinator.
Primary Responsibilities:
Channel Marketing/Retail Partner Marketing:
• Maintain a database of all regional and national contests
• Assist in tracking national sales levels
• Assembly of educational materials
• Preparation for truck shows and events
Direct Marketing:
• Maintain assembled catalogs
• Fulfill catalog requests
• Mailing list maintenance
• National and International Catalog Mailing Campaign
• Participate in strategic planning of direct mail packages
• Develop and maintain database of internal and external catalogs mailed
PR
• Assistance with PR Samples
• Event Planning, Press Dinners, Personal Appearances
• Maintain Press Clippings
• Maintain Contacts
• Publication Calendar
Inventory Management
• Monitor outgoing company material. i.e media kit requests
• Establish means of maintaining inventory
• Maintain database for marketing samples
Website/E-Commerce
Administrative
Take Away: Upon completion of this internship, the intern will have gained comprehensive experience of a nationwide marketing campaign. In addition, they will obtain a strong knowledge of the operational elements of one of the premier Men’s lifestyle brands in the United States. This contribution should provide a substantial addition to the intern’s resume as practical and applicable work.
