Urban Outfitters, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Fall 2008 Production Intern.
Objective: To follow the product from inception to approved product sample ensuring all stages of development are done according to the production schedule to meet assigned deadlines.
Job Skills:
- Management and communication skills to effectively work with merchants and vendors
- Organizational skills necessary to handle multiple projects and complete them within strict deadlines
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills that allow for a proactive approach to the business
- Strong computer skills
Responsibilities: To help Production Coordinators with the following:
- Time and Action Calendar
- Purchase Order Management
- WIP Maintenance
Requirements:
- Student in Junior or Senior year, working towards the completion of a Fashion related Bachelors degree
- Previous Production/Product Development internship experience is preferred
