The fashion department at MARIE CLAIRE seeks detail-oriented, highly-motivated, EXTREMELY organized winter and spring interns who work well in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must start in December and end January for winter or start in January and end in May for spring. You also must be able to commit to a MINIMUM of THREE to FIVE full days a week for COLLEGE CREDIT (or ENROLLED). Interns will be based in the fashion closet.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- checking in and returning samples
- creating story/trend boards
- organizing fashion closet
- setting up for run- through
- running errands to pick up and drop off at design houses or pr showrooms
- helping editors with special projects
Interns may also have the chance to assist at photo shoots or tv segments. Previous fashion closet experience is preferred, but not required. Must have a strong interest in fashion.
