Nolita/Bowery is a young fun, women's contemporary fashion jewelry collection accepting applicants to work our office. New Designers from Pratt, F.I.T, & Parsons will be offered a special opportunity to showcase their work. Job Description:
Assistance at Trade shows (includes free travel)
Filing
Bead Organization
Line sheet maintenance
Light Jewelry Assembly
Line Sheet Maintenance
General office tasks

Marketing and Strategic Planning Duties:
•Create concise research documents and analysis.
•Look at a brand and assess/research competition.
•Conduct website assessments.
•Prepare and assist with brainstorms by gathering brand information and take detailed notes. •Purchase products, gather images, and research brands for pitch preparation.

New Business Duties
•Be excited to explore new clients and expand our clientèle.
•Create concise research documents and analysis.
•Assist in brainstorms and creative pitch concepting.
•Assist in gathering information used to conduct consumer and competitive research projects. •Assist with presentations both general and specific to key meetings/ events.
•Preparation for pitch presentations; typically includes purchasing products, gathering images and research on the brand.

ALL OF OUR INTERNS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
•Strong organizational skills as well as strong communication skills (written and verbal).
•Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. •Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.
•Must be a self-starter with a proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently and on a team.
•Excellent follow-up skills.

Starting Date:
ASAP and/or Spring/Summer months
This is an excellent opportunity for an internship and /or temporary to permanent situation. Ideally you will be able to commit to 10+ hours per week (one full day or two half-days), but we are flexible about schedules and your school's internship requirements (if any).
