Design company looking to hire 2-3 interns for fashion design dept. and for the fabric dept.
Fashion Design Requirements:
-Interested in fashion design and either be in school for it or looking to get experience in the field.
-Would prefer someone to have knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop and a portfolio would also be an advantage.
-Would help design team with daily responsibilities including but not limited to: preparing cutting tickets for samples to be made, errands (picking up trims, buttons, and fabrics), light filing, etc.
*You will have an opportunity to learn about working with overseas mills and factories and also have an amazing opportunity to work side by side with designers and getting to learn the ins and outs of the business.
Fabric Dept Requirments:
-Would help fabric dept with daily responsibilities including but not limited to: checking in fabric daily from overseas mills, organizing fabric, work with specialty fabrics, etc.
- Would help prepare the 'baby book' which is a book detailing each fabric we use for each collection and helping with the development of different fabrics.
