WOOED Marketing Internship (SF)

We are a young startup in eco-friendly wood products industry with a creative and very well received product. Our products are wood sunglasses, wood cufflink and wood money clips (www.wooedbywood.com). We work in the mission district of San Fran. You will be working 1 day a week closely with our founder and corresponding with our Marketing guru/PR consultant. Other days telecommute option is available. (For super talented applicants, a full telecommute option is possible. )

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will bring strong writing skills, preferably in journalism, the ability to meet deadlines consistently and multi-task, a strong sense of urgency, a desire to learn and be challenged, and energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism. 

YOUR PROJECTS
*Assisting in researching editorial opportunities with trade publications, newspapers and other online and offline magazines
*Reaching out and corresponding emails with bloggers
*Monitoring and documenting media responses


OTHER SKILLS AS A PLUS
*Creative minded 
*Prior public relations internships
*Design skills
*Interests in Fashion and eco-friendly designs

Compensation: sales based commission plus meal compensation, college credit available on request
