Chromaculture Apparel is a growing, private label, design oriented, screen-printing and branding company in Marin. We design and print apparel, posters and packaging for businesses, schools, events and local labels in the Bay Area. Our mission is to provide quality products that last (and don't end up in the Goodwill box), unsurpassed customer service, locally produced products and an efficient turn around. We consistently go above and beyond to exceed expectations. We value working closely with our customers on every aspect of production from concept development to finishing and delivery.
We need some help this summer to reach out to potential customers! If you've got ideas, we're excited to hear them and work with you!
We need someone to work 2-3 days/week, sometimes including planned weekend events, for 2-3 months this upcoming summer, depending on your availability.
Job duties include:
- managing our social media (ie: creating weekly posts on our Tumblr blog, occational updates on Twitter & Facebook, and adding to our Pinterest & Instagram)
- assisting with direct email outreach to corporate companies, non-profits, and other local organizations, plus helping brainstorm other potential business
- assembling orders and shipping packages
- organizing samples
- assisting in event planning and tabling at summer markets and concerts
We can offer you:
- valuable hands-on experience in seeing a start-up begin from the ground-up
- hands-on experience learning how to screen print (and possibly some free t-shirts)
- experience in tabling at local events including farmers markets, flea markets, craft fairs, and concerts
- snacks when you're hungry
- Small stipend
Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about fashion, the Made-in-America movement, and are okay with miscellaneous duties involved with helping a start-up. Preferably we'd like someone who can receive university credit.
Please submit resume and a couple reasons why you think you'd like to work with us.
