Textile Company Merchandising/Marketing Internship (San Anselmo, CA)

Merchandising and Marketing Intern
A web-based retail & wholesale textile company, based in San Anselmo, specializing in block print textiles from India is offering a part-time internship position starting March 1st through June 27th. We design beautiful bohemian bedding, women and children apparel and accessories.

Responsibilities:
Assist in order processing for retail, trunk show and wholesale channels working closely with Wholesale Manager
Update weekly inventory count
Support product development by tracking samples
Process vendor shipments
Support marketing request from magazines and blogs
Logging and entry of records into Excel
Basic office and administrative duties

Qualifications:
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Creative thinker with great problem solving skills
Outstanding attention to detail and organized
Self-starter and quick learner
Ability to handle repetitive tasks
Must have a positive attitude
Must be punctual with outstanding attendance 

Requirements:
Strong interest in merchandising, marketing or graphic design
Must have strong organization and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat a plus
