We are SocialMediaSF, a boutique Social Media & Marketing company in San Francisco.
We help small businesses, restaurants and people in the food industry get popular through Social channels like Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Foursquare, Pinterest etc.
We are looking for a VP of Awesomeness! We are willing to teach the right candidate the business of Social Media and are also looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality marketing.

About You:
Understands how social media works and how communication spreads.
Good knowledge of San Francisco Food scene
You are an expert in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare and more
You live and breathe Social Media
Familiar with #Hashtags on Twitter / Instagram
Sense of humor is a must
Have a current blog about your passion.
Have a presence on a few Social Media Channels
Knowledge of High End Fashion and in the know of local hip places
Previous experience in building and managing multiple Facebook & Twitter
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and Micorsoft Office
Ability to write press releases [we can teach you as well]
Strong writing skills and some basic experience with photo editing is a plus.
Basic HTML Skills are a plus
Exceptional research, analytical and communication skills are a must
Knowledge of public relations, contacts, strategy is a plus
High level of organization and self-motivation
What You Will Do:
Create engaging content for our clients
Create and manage a Schedule of content via an Editorial Calendar
Manage Multiple Social Profiles across several Social Media Platforms
Manage Facebook Ad Platform and Manage Multiple Facebook Ads [We will teach you]
Come up with brilliant replies to comments and updates on Social Media Channels
Make 20-30 Phone Calls to prospective clients everyday
Identify and connect with key social media influencers around the Web
Research best means of social outlets for our content
Stay on top of social media trends, new technologies and tools, and innovative campaigns
Be up-to-date on topical news and pop culture
Be able to meet deadlines and work in tight schedules
Be able to work independently with little guidance
Provide unparalleled service to our existing clients w/ daily follow up
Create and manage multiple email marketing campaigns
