•Helping receive/check in trim shipments and
prepare the trims for the factories
•Assisting in sorting trims when there are damages or dye lots
•Assisting cut-ticket person in swatch tickets, and writing POS.
•Checking and pulling orders in warehouse during shipping.
•Entering receipts into the computer system after the factories ship,
•Checking the garments in the factories right before they are shipped for
hanger/poly bag/label placement
•Occasionally checking domestic/import/sweater garments for quality issues that arise either in the factories or once the garments arrive in the warehouse.
• Help in general filing/copying type duties for the department.
PROPOSED WORK SCHEDULE:
•3 to 4 days a week – 20+ hours per week
REQUIREMENTS:
•Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, in Production and able to receive credit for the internship
•Good understanding of the fashion industry.
•Detail oriented.
