The guy or gal lucky enough to snag this internship will get their hands dirty doing actual data analysis and strategic ad work for the ModCloth site, and will learn things that will help them go places later in life, be it at ModCloth or elsewhere!
What You’ll Be Doing:
The holiday season is the busiest and most dynamic time of year here at ModCloth, and you’ll be a key player in helping analyze our ad performance during this time. Calling upon your unique mix of analytical and creative thinking, you’ll tackle numbers left and right, manipulating large quantities of data to find meaningful results. Additionally, you’ll put on your thinking cap every day as you ponder customer behavior and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
Lend a hand in launching new advertising campaigns on Google search and Bing
Help develop best practices around audience targeting through Facebook Ads
Give that mind a workout by gathering and analyzing data, including data pertaining to performance across current paid channels
Conduct tests to expand and convert traffic on our site during the holiday season
Become buddy-buddy with keyword generation
Do market research
Requirements:
Current student pursuing a BA or BS in marketing, business, or equivalent
Keen, demonstrated interest in and functional knowledge of online marketing (SEM, display/banner advertising, social media advertising, affiliate networks, etc.)
Out-of-this-world written and verbal communication skills
Superhuman quantitative/analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions and formulas
Flawless attention to detail
A passion for fashion, technology, and retail/e-commerce, including familiarity with popular fashion blogs and publications
Nice to have:
Pursuring masters degree in related field
