If the answer is "Yes" Where Magazine is looking for an intern who could help out 1 or 2 days a week for 3 or 4 months.
You'll learn about the importance of marketing and advertising and how it affects the magazine/publishing world. You'll also see what it's like to work in a deadline-driven office environment.
Some of the things you'll be handling are:
• Monthly mailings
• Putting together media kits
• Filing and copying
• Attend & help out at events
• Maintaining accurate spreadsheets
• General office up-keep
- Assisting with ad materials.
- Assist with social media
-Assist editor with fact-checking, proof reading, etc.
-Helping out with various marketing efforts.
Skills we're looking for:
• Proficiency on a PC -- Microsoft Word, Excel
• Good organization
• Attention to detail
• Can-do attitude
• Punctual
- Experience with graphic design a plus.
