Cohn & Wolfe - a strategic marketing public relations firm dedicated to creating, building and protecting the world’s most prolific brands - is currently seeking full-time interns. If you’re interested in building your résumé, working in a fast-paced and creative environment, have previous public relations experience and an interest in travel, food and beverage, entertainment or consumer technology, this is the internship for you!
The positions are paid, available now and require 40 hours (5 days) per week.
Requirements:
· Self starter
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, and punctuation
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Strong work ethic
· Good time management skills
· Ability to take initiative
· A desire to learn ins and outs of public relations
· Bachelor’s degree with interest in communications
Primary Duties:
· Event coordination
· Media monitoring
· Research
· Media and client relations
· Writing and editing press materials
PC/Systems Skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities will NOT include:
· 5:00 a.m. coffee runs
· Picking up dry cleaning
· Walking dogs
· Excessive sucking up
