Start-up Swimwear Company is seeking a technical designer to join our team of 2 and help bring our visions to life!
Job Description: Reports to two designers/founders, must be able to sketch specs of sample garments, and prepare tech packs. Swimwear/Intimates experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of fabrics/garment construction and familiarity with stores in garment district (fabric, trim, supplies) a plus!
Must be comfortable working in a small business/start up company/casual environment. We need someone who is available to meet a couple hrs per week probably at most. Actual tech work can be done on your own at your convenience. We have day jobs but will work with you to find the best schedule possible for all parties! We're looking for someone who is self motivated and passionate about fashion. We'll only need about 5 pieces to start (2-piece bikinis only) and if all goes well, hopefully we can form a lasting partnership!
