Are you interested in a career in Fashion Event Planning, Fashion PR or Fashion Advertising; or simply want to gain experience and contacts in these areas, then this is the internship for you.
New York City Entertainment Company with offices in Chelsea seeks motivated, outgoing, and dedicated members to join our team and assist with our upcoming fashion events and projects.
The ideal candidate is someone who is pursuing a BA or Associates degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Styling, or Fashion Design (but not necessary). We are seeking a creative and outgoing person who is knowledgeable about current trends and NYC fashion designers who bring a unique flavor to the industry. We would also like to have someone who is interested in the marketing, advertising, and promotion side of fashion, as well as someone who is passionate about the creative process of fashion show production.
You will need to have excellent oral and written communication skills with an enthusiasm for risk-taking and problem-solving. In addition, you need to be able to work well with a team, while also being able to take the lead on projects and tasks and be a self starter.
