Tasks include: Working with systems of communication related to fabric/textile knowledge for Contemporary and Ready To Wear divisions, intern will be involved in updating Excel fabric tracking reports, working with industry specific software settings in fabric data, creating catalogues of info for new season (e.g.: fabrics used, yields, etc.). Intern will suggests effective systems of maintaining fabric inventory and information systems between Production to all other departments and work closely with the Director of Purchasing.
Qualifications: Computer knowledge; specifically Excel, organizational skills, analytical nature, great communication skills and basic knowledge of fabric terms (e.g. yarn dyed, pc. dyed, etc.). Intern must be responsible, hardworking, willing to learn in a team oriented atmosphere.
