Fashion Design Intern

A new women’s missy contemporary brand looking for a design intern. Intern will get a first hand experience and exposure to the whole process of creating a new collection including sourcing, designing, sample making, and other pre/post-production related tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Help prepare press package, swatch cards, and line sheets
• Ship & track samples
• Assist with fitting
• Source & purchase trims/fabrics
• Manage fabric library
• Perform office duties & various pre/post production assignments

Qualifications:
• Must have fashion related education/background
• Must be proficient with Microsoft office, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to multi-task and take direction well
• Have positive attitude and eager to learn

Length of Internship:
• 3-6 months commitment (available to start mid Nov)
• Ideally 20-25 hours a week and available 2 full days a week.
