BlackTree Media, a division of BlackTree Enterprises, is an award-winning New Media company whose current focus has been to produce and deliver entertainment and news video content to viewers worldwide.

We have provided live news coverage to a number of events spanning the globe such as BET Awards, the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States, The Netherlands Film Festival, The American Music Awards, the Grammy Awards, and Fashion Week to name a few.

As a New Media company, we deliver our content across various digital platforms. (online, IPVE, mobile, podcasts)

The BlackTree TV website and YouTube Channel currently receives over twelve million viewers per month. BlackTree TV is one the most viewed channels in the history of YouTube (#24 Most Viewed All Time as of this posting) and has received more views than many other popular channels like BarackObamadotcom, BBCWorldwide and the WHATTHEBUCKSHOW.

We are seeking enthusiastic, passionate, highly motivated interns in the Mid-Wilshire are of LA. This is the perfect opportunity for a talented individual who has a desire to receive excellent pre and post production training in the world of celebrity entertainment, news, and special event coverage.

Responsibilities:
1) Pre Productions – script preparation, casting, equipment preparation
2) Post Production – logging daily, video editing, uploading videos to various online sites for distribution

Skills:
Applicant must be able to work 3-5 days per week, commit to schedule and follow through. Must be very organized with excellent communication skills. The ability to LISTEN and take instruction is of vital importance. Should be Mac savvy. Previous experience with FCP is a plus but not required.

This program is geared toward individuals or students who want to have a career in film, television or emerging media. This is an unpaid internship. Chosen candidates will be considered for more permanent placement at the conclusion of the internship.
