Private Women's Vintage clothing showroom in Brooklyn needs a dependable, creative assistant who is passionate about fashion and has a strong personal style. We’re upbeat and fun and want you to be upbeat and fun too!
That said, you must be professional, reliable, organized, flexible - and ready to work. 15 - 20 hours a week, mostly during regular business hours (some weekend hours from time to time).
Duties include but are not limited to:
-assisting the owner in daily operations
-processing new inventory and light repairs/sewing
-maintaining and expanding our blog and social networks (Facebook, MySpace etc) as well as editorial fashion credits and press clips
-interacting with clients and other business contacts
-assisting at seasonal and special events
-being generally awesome
Must have a love for and knowledge of Women's Vintage clothing and be Mac/Office Suite/PhotoShop/Dreamweaver friendly (your own laptop is a plus). This is an incredible opportunity for the right individual to learn the Vintage Clothing business from the ground up, and since we’re paying you in amazing Vintage pieces, build up a fab wardrobe in the process!
