Internship Description:
You will learn buying aspect including best seller and line review meeting preparation and
participation and sample coordination. You will learn the financial side of things overview of open
to buy, pricing, promotions, markdowns, mark up, and gross margin management. You will also
learn purchase order management, order entry and proof orders. You will also learn visual
merchandising.

Internship Requirements:
• Must receive school credit for internship
• Business/Fashion Merchandising major a plus
• Must have interest in Buying
• Basic computer skills

Internship Application Process

The purpose of the Quiksilver Internship Program is to provide college students with closely
supervised practical experience in the workplace with the opportunity to earn academic credit. Our
responsibility to the program is to offer the intern insight to their career paths through career
specific tasks, direct supervision and evaluation.

Quiksilver offers internships to qualified candidates on an as needed basis.

To be considered as a qualified candidate you must meet the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled at an institute of higher education and
• Must be a Junior or Senior and
• Must receive school credit for internship

If you feel you meet the aforementioned qualifications, submit your internship request in writing to
the Human Resources department for review. Please include dates of availability and the
department in which you are interested on the cover letter.
