Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Maintaining database of media contacts, stylists, editors, etc.
- Supporting staff by making research and follow-up inquiries
- Monitoring and archiving product placement
- Searching media outlets – print, web, etc. for placement
- Celebrity, stylist, and editor gifting
- Occasional editing and writing of press releases
- General office duties including – answering phones, shipping packages, ordering office supplies, assisting staff in day to day tasks
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Proactive go-getter who is willing to be hands-on
- Excellent writing skills is a MUST
- Exceptional phone and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a group
- Reliable, detail-oriented and extremely motivated
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Internet research experience
- Knowledge/interest/experience in fashion and/or PR
- Outgoing and professional with a sense of humor
Other requirements/important information:
- Minimum of 15 hours a week (2-3 days)
- College credit available/unpaid
- Must have a commitment of at least 3 months
- Position available immediately
- Must like dogs (we have an adorable one in the office)
