Versace Press Office, New York, is looking for Spring 2008 candidates to fill intern positions in several different areas of the Public Relations department.
- Prospective interns must be Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel sufficient.
- Prospective interns must be pro-active, organized and well spoken.
- Prospective interns must be able to work in a fast paced and often hectic environment.
- Advanced communication and writing skills required.
In order to be considered for an interview, prospective intern candidates must be able to meet at least one of following requirements:
- Completion of a prior Public Relations internship
- College major in either public relations, marketing, or communications
Duties include:
- Assisting with fashion coordination of Versace samples for U.S. and International publications.
- Assisting with market appointments for both Editorial and VIP purposes.
- Assisting in the process of managing sample requests, credits and sample call backs.
- Managing showroom inventory for designated area
- Compiling monthly fashion research reports and bi-annual trend reports
- Prospective interns must work 2-5 days/week.
Interns must start early-mid January and be able to work through the end of May.
