Job Description: Assist publicist with pr and marketing for professional sports clients.
Positions Available:
-Print Media Group: pitching clients to urban publications, mainstream
entertainment publications, sports magazines, fashion magazines
(features, columns, fashion spreads), men’s magazines, home and garden
type publications, religious publications, business magazines, women’s
magazines, newspapers (quotes, features, etc)
-Television Media Group: pitching sitcoms, soap operas, news shows, sport shows,
game shows
-Internet Media Group: pitching online sports magazines, on line entertainment
magazines, on line chats, myspace blogs
-Regional Marketing Group: cities include – San Diego, St. Louis, New York,
Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Houston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Memphis,
New Jersey, New York, Atlanta. Local radio (urban, mainstream, sports: contest
involvement, promotions, weekly shows, host station events), local television
(weekly shows, guest appearances, promotions), local charity involvement, local
night club events, local mall events
-National Marketing: award show involvement, music videos, clothing
endorsements, fast food endorsements, high profile events
-Charity Support: marketing and fundraising support to Client’s charities.
Hours: Tuesday – Thursday 10:00am – 4:00 pm. (some flexibility)
