Fast Growing Magazine on Latin Culture – Internships

Remezcla.com is the only multi-city local guide to Latin culture in the US. Remezcla covers Latin American and Latino cultures in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and San Francisco.
We're currently looking for young talented students to join our nationwide internship program. Our internship program gives talented college students interested in Latin culture and media the opportunity to gain relevant experience that complements their coursework and career objectives in a creative, professional and fast-growing company.
We’re currently looking for interns with the following skills:

* Broad knowledge of and interest in local Latin cultural scene in the Bay Area
* Up-to-date on Latino and Latin American pop culture trends
* Excellent writing skills in English, knowledge of Spanish preferred
* Strong computer skills (MS Office)
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Available to work at least 16 hours a week

As part of our internship program you will have the opportunity to participate in the following functions:

Editorial
Interns will have the opportunity to work with editors in the daily production of the online magazine. This includes: covering events, conducting interviews, writing reviews, maintaining event listings, pitching article ideas, and more.

Graphic Design/Programming
Interns will get hands-on experience and exposure in graphic design and web programming, as well as image processing, resizing and color correction.

Photography/Video
Photography and Video interns assist in the pre-production, production and post-production of photos and videos for our site.
