SF Model & Talent Agency Is Hiring Paid Interns (downtown / civic / van ness)

Ever wanted to learn about the entertainment industry from behind the scenes?

DIZON Model & Talent Agency is a full-service agency representing adult, teen, and child models and actors. We are based in San Francisco, with two other offices in Los Angeles and Orlando, Florida.

The position will be in our San Francisco administrative office.

Interns will work in the Event Marketing and Promotional division which includes working with clients and talent on in-store demonstrations, guerilla marketing campaigns, mall sampling, and other specialty events.

Marketing and Promotions

-Assist with research on market trends and compiling data, distribution of media for promotional purposes, help create press releases as required, assist with special events as required.
New Faces

-Assisting with administrative duties during the model screening process, conduct “open-call” castings, contact potential new talent, assisting with special events as required.

Bookings

-Finding talent for clients’ needs, scheduling model appearances, coordinating communication between agency, client, and models for jobs, assisting with special events as required.
Talent Management (Administration)

-Maintaining database of current talent, updating files as needed, assisting with contract renewals and terminations, assisting with management of specific talent, assisting with special events as required..

Time commitment: Two to four days per week for a minimum of three months (possibility of extension), four to eight hours per day, as necessary. We would love for it to work out for hired interns to possibly get permanent positions at the agency.

Requirements: Responsible, organized, timely, well spoken, and extremely outgoing. Potential interns must express an interest in the entertainment, event marketing, and/or fashion industry or willing to learn. You must like to dress up for work and attend industry related events. Open minded with a great sense of humor.

No DRAMA!

Preferred background: High school graduate, with or without college experience. Computer literate, ability to use PhotoShop and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) a plus.

These internships are not valid for college credit. However, interns are paid an hourly of $8-$10 per hour with booking bonuses. Plus, the perks are great…opportunity to travel and even become a part of our “Promotional Talent” group! Several of our interns have been able to generate an extra $1000-$2000 per month working promotional events.
DIZON has recently booked events and parties with pop group Danity Kane, television stars Bridget and Cristal from The Girls Next Door, Melissa S. of the Search for the Next Pussycat Dolls, and more.
