Style House PR is a boutique fashion & accessories public relations company in New York City specializing in events and securing media coverage for our luxury clients. We are looking for an intern for the summer to join our small, friendly environment where they will learn about ALL facets of fashion PR, media outreach and fashion marketing. An ideal candidate would be stylish, educated, creative, enthusiastic, and media savvy (magazine, TV, newspaper, internet/blogs) with a true interest in the business of public relations. The more proactive you are the more you will get out of the experience - this is an excellent opportunity for the person who wants to get their foot in the door and learn the ropes of the fashion PR industry.
This is an unpaid internship and/or for college credit
REQUIREMENTS:
*Interest and knowledge of the fashion industry
*Media savvy
*Professional Phone Manner
*Strong communication skills (writing, phone, in-person)
*PC and Mac proficient with basic programs
*Attention to detail in ALL tasks from typing to editing and other office work
*Available at least 2 days a week
