Internship for Fashion PR Firm (Beverly Hills)

Located: Beverly Hills, Ca

PR firm is looking for confident, driven, and personable interns. We are a growing boutique fashion PR firm located in Beverly Hills and are now interviewing internship candidates. The qualified individual will have a passion for learning the business and developing a career in the fashion and public relations industry. For the right person, there is a possibility that this will turn into a full-time position after 3 months. We are looking for an intern who will support and nourish the continuous growth of the company.

Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
- Maintaining database of media contacts, stylists, editors, etc.
- Supporting staff by making research and follow-up inquiries
- Monitoring and archiving product placement in publications
- Searching media outlets – print, web, etc. for placement
- Gifting celebrities, stylists, and editors
- General office duties including – answering phones, shipping packages, ordering office supplies, assisting staff in day to day tasks

Qualifications we are looking for:
- Proactive go-getter who is willing to be hands-on
- Excellent phone, writing and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a group
- Reliable, detail-oriented and extremely motivated
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Internet research experience
- Outgoing and professional with a sense of humor
- Preferably a student in their last semesters of undergrad

Other requirements/important information:
- Minimum of 15 hours a week (2-3 days)
- Knowledge/prior experience in fashion and/or PR a plus – but not required
- College credit available/unpaid
- Must have a commitment of at least 3 months
- Position available immediately
- Must like dogs (we have an adorable one in the office)
