FXCM is currently seeking interns to directly assist senior management with growing a new initiative directed at servicing high net worth and sophisticated currency traders, broker dealers worldwide, and emerging market hedge funds and banks. This dynamic internship offers experience that will help develop multiple skill sets including private and institutional client sales and relationship management, financial markets analysis, sales and trading; entrepreneurship; business development and business analysis; and marketing.
Applicants should demonstrate:
Strong academic ability, personal ambition and work ethics
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be proficient with Excel
Must be extremely detailed oriented, thorough, articulate and organized
Ideally bilingual in 2 or more languages: German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Spanish or French, or Russian
Ability to investigate and ask thorough questions
Knowledge of local markets a plus
Demonstrate a strong interest and passion for financial markets and industries worldwide
Previous experience in business development, sales or financial markets a plus, but not required
Write and speak persuasively and clearly
Think quickly and problem-solve in real-time
Bachelors degree in a related area
Follow economics, international finance, foreign exchange and international news events
Interns are expected to work between 10 and 40 hours per week. Schedules are very flexible.
