High End Designer level label seeks high energy Public Relations Intern with a good deal of experience with in house PR. This is an unpaid academic or experience only internship. We are looking for a hard working, reliable self starter that can keep up with a fast pace environment.
Your duties for the internship can include everything from contacting editors, stylists, assembling press packets, sending newsletters, managing sample closet, keeping websites up to date with new product, new photos, includes writing copy, taking and fixing product images, blog posting, interfacing PR contacts, special events, sales.
To be considered, candidates must show strength in the following areas:
- excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills

- goal-oriented
- excellent customer skills
- career orientation towards fashion
- strong organizational skills
- attention to detail
- ability to follow direction and function with minimum supervision

- knowledge of web marketing/Advertising
- strong knowledge of the fashion Industry
- knowledge and ability to use online marketing tools
-strong proficiency with Excel, Word, & Adobe Photoshop
- excellent time-management skills
- experience with web based advertising and email promotions
Internet Savvy, Social Network blogging Savvy a plus. Previous experience in a PR/ Marketing role is preferred.
Internship Commitment: 3 months with a minimum of 10 hours per week.
