Karla Otto Inc. Fashion Internship (NY)

Karla Otto Inc. is a leading fashion public relations agency with offices in Milan, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Beijing. We are currently seeking part-time and full-time interns to start immediately, and next term, in our New York office. The offices of Karla Otto represent highly respected European and American clients such as Givenchy, Christian Dior, Celine, Viktor & Rolf, Marni, Pucci and Vionnet. Interns will be assisting both the logistics and pressroom departments. 

Interns will learn to: 

-Assist both the Logistics and Pressroom Departments 
-Manage domestic and international sample trafficking using Fashion GPS 
-Assist in reports and research projects 
-Manage and organize the showroom 
-Magazine clipping and scanning 
-Assist at fashion shows and events during Fashion Week in New York 

This is an educational experience that will allow the intern to experience the full life-cycle of a fashion public relations agency with multiple international offices. Additionally, the skills learned at Karla Otto Inc. can be applied to other industries. This is an unpaid internship. We ask that you have excellent communication and organizational skills, a great work ethic, the ability to work efficiently and a can-do attitude. You will be working with a very welcoming and friendly office that is eager to share their knowledge of the industry. 

Overall, this internship opportunity will be a great way to gain insight into the fast-paced and exciting world of fashion. Experience is a plus, however, we always welcome anyone who is eager to learn and work hard for the sake of fashion.
