Budget Babe Fashion Writing Internship (NY)

Are you a college student obsessed with the latest fashion trends? Are you a self-described beauty addict or nail art expert? Do you love decorating on the cheap and creating stylish DIY projects? Most of all, do you love writing, being savvy and sharing your passion with others?
If so, The Budget Babe is currently looking for writers for the Summer/Fall 2013 semester. Responsibilities include writing, researching, taking and editing photos, creating Pinterest-worthy graphics and images, and engaging readers via social media platforms.
Writers will be expected to craft their own topics and deliver 1-3 blog posts per week. Writers should be able to start work immediately and continue through December (dates can be flexible).
The ideal candidate would be enrolled in college as of Fall 2013 (recent grads will also be considered).
Applicants should have a strong command of the English language, the ability to set their own work hours and meet strict deadlines. Applicants must be self-motivated, highly-organized, responsible and creative.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, video editing for YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter is a huge plus.
Interning for The Budget Babe is an excellent way to expand your writing portfolio and get your name out there. Your work will be read by tens of thousands of readers each week. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about PR, building a brand, pro-blogging and of course, fashion!
