The Hollywood Reporter, a weekly entertainment and lifestyle magazine with a website read by millions every month, is now accepting applications for its unpaid summer 2013 editorial internship semester, which will run from May through August. Duties primarily include article research, interview transcription, fact-checking, proofreading, web production and attendance at daily editorial meetings — as well as occasional writing assignments.
Applicants must be eligible for college credit and commit to a two-day rotation, from 9:30AM to 6:30PM.
Send a cover letter and resume (in body of e-mail — no attachments) by noon Pacific Time on Friday, March 15th, to Gary Baum (gary.baum@thr.com). The publication is located in the Miracle Mile neighborhood of Los Angeles, along Wilshire Blvd., midway between Fairfax and La Brea.
