Requirements:
Ethusiastic and committed
Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
First-time interns welcome
Current fashion design student
Duties include:
Communicating with sample room
Sourcing fabric and trim in the Garment District
Maintaining fabric and trim library
Assisting design team with meetings with trim and fabric vendors
Assisting design team with daily upkeep of design offices including filing and organizing fabric and trim
Preparing showroom samples for Market Week
This is a valuable learning experience for a student looking to pursue a career in the fashion industry.
The opportunity to work with a great design team, production, and a skilled sample room.
