Design Development Intern at Luxury Handbag Company

Soho NYC-based luxury handbag designer SANG A is looking for enthusiastic interns with sewing & patternmaking skills to receive training and invaluable front-row experience while assisting in design development.

This is an exciting & rewarding opportunity to train directly alongside the designer to see how new design ideas are developed. Applicants will receive training in design development & production management.

Sewing experience on professional sewing machines is highly valued.

Qualifications:

• Must be available 3-5 days per week

• Must have a great attitude, communications skills, excellent writing and strong work ethic.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign

Position: Full-time or part-time internship
Duration: 8 weeks minimum -- 12 weeks, we prefer candidates to stay 12 weeks to get the most out of this experience.
School credit provided, but not required
