Jewelry Production Internship – Private Label Department
Satya Jewelry is a fun vibrant company with amazing people. Our private label department creates collections for prestigious museums and well known fashion labels. We design, create and distribute from our loft space in Chelsea, NYC.
Design/Production interns needed for Private Label Department available Spring (beginning ASAP), Summer and Fall 2011. Minimum 3 days per week, 2 month commitment. Exact timing of internship is flexible. Full-time and longer time commitment preferred. Please include your ideal timeframe.

Satya jewelry is an established company that creates beautiful styles with symbolic meaning and a modern aesthetic. Our designs have been featured in New York Magazine as "best everyday jewelry," as well as many domestic and international fashion magazines. We have four retail stores in the NYC metro area and one in London. Our wholesale division sells to 250 stores domestic and international accounts.
Intern will be working closely with the Private Label Department but will be exposed to all components of the Satya Jewelry Company.
School credit issued as well as food/travel reimbursements and jewelry incentives offered. Our commitment to our interns is a quality and authentic work experience. We will guide, teach and challenge you in hopes of providing new skills and experiences that will inspire you both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities include:
-sample support: color copy, file, label, tagging/send samples, update spreadsheets
-design room upkeep: sort/return components to bins, create new organizational systems
-production support: packaging, QA, simple assembly
-misc: special projects, trips to local suppliers, shows
