Internship Opportunity – Preface PR
*This internship is for candidates who are able to begin immediately. Please do not send your resume unless you are able to start as of mid-March.
Preface Public Relations is a multidisciplinary Fashion PR firm representing luxury fashion and accessories brands. We currently have an outstanding internship opportunity for an individual interested in gaining experience in the fashion and public relations industries. We are seeking candidates who are eager to learn, ready and willing to work hard in a fast paced environment, and available to work 2 to 3 days per week. Must be resourceful, punctual, detail oriented, able to multitask and think one step ahead.
Duties will include:
· Updating industry contact info
· Brand research
· Tracking samples and handling showroom pulls with celebrity stylists
· Multi-tasking and managing various ongoing research projects
· Updating and maintaining credits
· Directly assisting account executives with everyday tasks
· Mailings and shipping, including occasional Fed Ex drop off
· Occasional pick ups/ drop offs to clients, stylists, and editors
· Keeping showroom presentable
· Phone competent & able to direct calls
· Pick up magazines and scan for placements
· Involvement in social media practices
Internships must be for school credit.
