We are seeking recent college grads for business internships. If you are looking to learn an import business from the ground up, this may be the right opportunity for you.

Elsa L, Inc., is a mid-size successful and fast paced designer and wholesaler of fashionable gift industry products (picture frames, photo albums, wall art and home office storage). Founded in 1992, we are a nationally recognized fashion leader that creates, manufactures and globally markets gift products with special expertise in picture frames, photo albums, wall art, scrapbooks and home office products and accessories. Our extensive product lines are manufactured from a variety of materials including unique blends of metal, wood, ceramics, and fabric. Our ability to satisfy our client’s needs for innovative product designs at highly competitive prices and presented in different media is unmatched.

Our customers include national chains, mass marketers, specialty stores, and department stores. We currently have Internship Opportunities in the following areas:

Sales
Ø Assist with preparing sales data and forecasting
Ø Prepare market research on customers
Ø Data entry and account maintenance. Completing vendor forms.

Finance
Ø Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, and basic spreadsheets.

Product Development
Ø Routes and follows up on product assortment sheets
Ø Will assist with preparing art requests and art letters
Ø Enters data updates to custom software program
Ø Assists with various sample tracking issues
Ø Takes photographs of products to enter into software program

Art/Creative
Ø Will assist with basic production duties
Ø Will adapt, revise and re-iterate art work
Ø Mechanical specifications and mock ups
Ø Organizing, storing and saving into art files

We are looking for individuals who can handle a fast-paced environment, want to learn and grow in the organization, and have a strong sense of fashion and trend. We anticipate each internship being 20+ hours per week, for 3-6 months. We are able to offer an entry level base pay and applicants must have a legal right to work in the USA.

Our headquarters is based in San Rafael, CA, 94901 - about a 20-minute drive from the Golden Gate Bridge. We have approximately 35 employees at headquarters. Interested candidates can contact HR@elsal.com.
