PR and Marketing Intern for Iconic Event Space (Bowery)

E__P Internship Description

For someone seeking a truly unique experience, this will be an unrivaled introduction to New York City’s underground hospitality industry. We have recently opened a private event space in what was once legendary CBGB. This is a private event space that hosts events ranging from private concerts to album releases to fashion shows. We work in collaboration with both John Varvatos and the Morrison gallery as a destination for culture and rock & roll music. This is an opportunity to join on the ground floor of an entrepreneurial endeavor.

Job Duties:
· Collaborate with event planners to execute private events according to spec.
· Tour and show clients event space when need be.
· Running necessary errands
· Work with liquor sponsors
· Coordinate appointments with bands, event planners, etc
· Manage guest lists for events in collaboration with PR companies.
· Work with manager to staff events appropriately

Ideal Candidate
· Hard working
· Familiar with Excel
· Socially apt
· Familiar with downtown Manhattan culture
· Excited to be a part of our efforts

You will be working directly with the principle of this project:

Jesse Keyes (Owner and Managing Partner) Restaurateur, Developer, and Entrepreneur; investor and partner in La Esquina, Gold Bar, and most recently Hotel Griffou. Beyond the hospitality sector, he developed highly touted condominium building One Seventh, and is investor in fashion designer Karolina Zmarlak.
