Details of Internship:Levi Strauss & Co is looking for dedicated, innovative, and most importantly fun interns to work in the Public Relations department for the coming Fall ’09 and Spring ’10 semesters. Interns will work closely with publicists from the Levi’s brand to assist the team in securing editorial placement and media coverage in some of the nations top publications, websites, and television programs. Candidates should have a strong interest in PR, marketing, and fashion and be eager to learn the ins and outs of the industry while multitasking in a busy and energetic environment. Daily responsibilities include:
-Management and organization of the Levi’s fashion closets.
-Trafficking of all samples to and from various magazines, photo shoots, publicity events, etc.
-Assisting with the planning and execution of special events and projects.
-Assisting with the assembly and distribution of promotional materials.
-General administrative duties.
The internship is unpaid and can be for college credit. We ask that all interns be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week. Interested candidates should e-mail cover letter & resume to:
