Robindira Unsworth (www.robindira.com) is an internationally recognized jewelry design and manufacturing company with design and production studios housed in a historic building in downtown Petaluma. Our high-end jewelry line is distinguished by its unique aesthetic and exceptional craftsmanship. Our world-wide retail distribution includes specialty boutiques, high-end department stores, catalogs, and Web-based retailers. Our jewelry is regularly featured in top fashion magazines throughout the world.

We are immediately seeking interns in our jewelry production department.

This internship is perfect for the individual that likes working with their hands, has a passion for jewelry, and wants to learn more about the fashion industry. In addition to assisting our production department with the assembly of materials for our artisans, you will be learning jewelry pre-production techniques, quality control, fabrication, wire-wrapping, and other useful jewelry making techniques.

The ideal intern is enthusiastic about working in the fashion industry, has an up-beat personality and a high energy level. We love a take-charge attitude. You will be working with deadlines, at a high quality and accuracy level in an exciting, fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment. You must be flexible, and well organized. You must also be willing to jump in and help out with any task at hand that may arise.

Experience/interest in some crafts, especially jewelry fabrication will also come in handy. We are looking for an intern that has the ability/desire to work as a team player and who takes initiative and ownership of work product and space.

Our design studio hours are 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday. We are seeking an intern that can commit to working approximately 3 or more days a week for the next few months. Hours are flexible.

Salary: This internship is unpaid, however you will have the opportunity to work among other passionate people in a dynamic and super-cool work environment—gain valuable experience in the fashion industry and learn new skills. This internship can also potentially provide the candidate with an exceptional reference for future endeavors. Plus, your hard work will be greatly rewarded with occasional jewelry pieces from the Robindira Unsworth collection. This internship could also lead to paid production work at our design studio.
