Description:
Direct hands on experience in the fashion PR world. Contact with key fashion editors (Esquire,GQ, InStyle, W, Nylon, Flaunt,etc) and stylists on a daily basis. Experience handling events, guest lists, gift bags for select events. One on one mentoring. Great office environment in great location and fun perks

Requirements:
Someone that is seeking to learn more about the Fashion PR industry. Self motivated, desire to learn and take the initiative on assigned projects. Exceptional organizational and personal skills. Positive attitude. Reliable. Independent. Willing to work in a fast pace environment. Experience with Excel/Word. Enjoys industry events and parties. Available to intern at least 2-3 days a week.

Tasks Include:
Sending and tracking samples
Maintaining and updating Press book
Create & Organize editorial and stylist contact databases
Help write press releases/pitches to key editors and stylists
Manage guest list and door for select events
Help send packages/gifts to key editors/celebs
Research other outlets and mediums for Creative Recreation to become involved in
Handle all online/blog PR requests and pitches

Note:
This internship is unpaid but a fantastic experience with one-on-one mentoring and a nice boss
