Social Media and Public Relations Paid Internships, P/T and F/T
Social Radius, a social media marketing company behind such well-known campaigns as the “Yes We Can” viral video by Will.i.am that was the hit of the Obama campaign, plus corporate clients ranging from Philips to fashion brands, is seeking a razor-sharp social media enthusiast who combines technology passion with rock-solid research and writing. Familiarity with blogosphere, Facebook and Twitter vital (active authors of blogs or podcasts a big plus), previous internships in an agency environment also a plus, but not required. This position involves heavy blog research and analysis, crisp writing and critical thinking skills. Paid part-time and full-time summer internships available.
In addition, the firm's sister company, Terpin Communications, is hiring part-time and full-time summer interns for more traditional PR clients. Strong writing and telephone skills a must, previous internships in the PR or marketing fields given preference. Duties will include, but are not limited to: heavy media research, writing and telephone pitching, preparing monthly reports, managing media databases. This is an excellent learning experience for those getting started in the PR industry. Paid stipend internships &/or college credit where applicable.
The position is based in the agency’s headquarters in beautiful Marina del Rey facility alongside the boats, although some telecommuting is permitted for those who do not live on the Westside.
