Marketing Intern for a Financial Services Company

Capital Access Group provides commercial real estate financing for small to medium-sized businesses. We have a dedicated team of Business Development Officers and Loan Officers that enable businesses to grow and succeed with financial assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 504 Loan Program.

The Marketing Intern will assist in writing press releases and supporting the Director of Marketing in formulating advertising and marketing strategies, as well as occasionally assist the President & CEO in all facets of the business. The Marketing Intern is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties and will work closely with all the members of Capital Access Group to make sure processes run smoothly and efficiently day to day. The Marketing Intern MUST be able to multi-task, work without supervision, and be able to handle a multitude of responsibilities that need on the spot problem-solving.

There is potential for the Internship to grow into a full time, paid position, expanding the responsibilities to include speaking with referral sources and clients.

Duties of the Marketing Intern will include:
- Seeking out press opportunities for the company and for clients
- Researching and helping to create marketing initiatives for the company
- Keeping the database current at all times by continually making updates
- Keeping track of deals in process to organize press for said deals upon transaction close

Requirements:
- High level of organizational, tactical and communication skills- MUST be able to multi-task
- Flexible – always willing to help out with whatever comes up
- Microsoft Office working experience

Experience:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of general office or customer service related experience

Salary:
- The position will begin as part-time work with a flexible schedule at $10 per hour.
