Marketing/Sales Internship
Description: Kata Manufacturing, LLC is looking for ambitious and driven college students to work in our Sales & Marketing department. The Intern will provide overall support to the Sales & Marketing teams, communicate with international and domestic accounts, and work with the Design team to ensure that company goals are met.
Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
� Report directly to the Operations Director and work closely with In house and Outside Sales Representatives to establish and sustain positive relationships with accounts through various projects.
� Communicate with accounts to prepare Customer Profiles.
� Prepare Sales/Marketing Kits and ship samples to potential clients.
� Track, communicate and update customer communication log to ensure follow through.
� Assist with Apparel Photoshoots as needed.
To be considered as a qualified candidate you must meet the following criteria:
� Be currently enrolled at an institute of higher education
� Be a Junior or Senior level status
� Must receive school credit for internship
� Previous Apparel Manufacturing experience or knowledge preferred
� Working towards or in possession of a Bachelor�s degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
� Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
� Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
� Knowledge of screenprinting techniques, trim and embellishments a plus
