Position: Marketing/Public Relations Intern
Profile: A socially responsible luxury home furnishings company specializing in production of high-end, handmade carpets.
Position Description: This position requires a detail-oriented person to help maintain marketing tools and archives. Job will also involve typing, filing, scanning, general administrative duties, and supporting the marketing and public relations department. The marketing department is involved in event planning, press/media outreach, online marketing, advertising and branding. This is an excellent opportunity to have experience working for a luxury brand. Position includes a monthly travel stipend but it is unpaid. We require someone 20 hours per week for 2-3 months or ideally until September. Position starts immediately.
Qualifications: Be interested in implementing integrated marketing programs for a socially responsible luxury home furnishings company. Candidate must be able to multi-task, have good organizational and interpersonal skills, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be resourceful. Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and a digital background and/or Photoshop is a plus. Must be able to conduct productive research using the internet.
